We purchased our first pygmy goats in 2005, and what a wild bunch they were!
Many breeders allow their pygmy goats to dam raise their young which means there will be a fair amount of work needed to tame the goats down.
Here at Hymnotes Farm our babies are raised on a CAE prevention program which involves bottle feeding the babies from the moment of birth on pasturized milk.
Hymnotes Farm kids are very friendly. They will even come to you when you call their name … if they want to! We are still working on a program that will prevent the stubborn quality that pygmy goats seem to express!
